Today i would like to share something about my presentation for muet..i choice asthma for topic to i present in muet class..asthma is a chronic [long-term] lung disease that inflames and narrows the airways..asthma causes recurring periods of wheezing,chest tightness,shortness of breath and coughing..asthma affects people of all ages,but it most often starts in childhood..in the united states,more than 22million people are known to have asthma..nearly 6 million of these people are children..among children,more boys have a asthma than girl..but among adults,more women have the disease than men..it's not clear whether or sex and sex hormones play a role in causing asthma..most,but not all,people who have asthma because of expore to certain chemical irritants or industrial dust in the workplace..this is occupational asthma..currently, there isn't a way to prevent asthma from starting in the first place..however,you can take steps to control the disease and prevent its symptoms..first;learn about your asthma and how to control it,second;follow your written astma action plan,third;use medicines as your doctor directs and identify and avoid things that make your asthma worse[as much as your can] then,keep track of your asthma symptoms and level of control..lastly;get regular checkups for your asthma..done!!
